What do my children do at camp?
Daily 30 min warmup/ cooldown followed by 4 training stations where they will learn 4 Parkour techniques (movement skills). Open Gym time will consist of individual and and team Parkour challenges. Day 4 will mostly be team challenges, Day 5 Timed obstacles course training.
Can I do late pick up?
Yes, we have late pickup options, but please pick the option when signing up.
What happens if I am late?
If you are late then you will be charged $10 for every 10 mins.
What do I need to bring for a full day of camp?
A refillable water bottle, cool comfortable clothing, closed toe shoes (a must), a lunch and 2 snacks per day. Your child may also bring a book to read.
Can I get multi camp and multi child discounts?
Yes. You must call in or email us for that opportunity. Our registration system is not designed to give you this opportunity.
Is your space air conditioned?
Yes, and No. Our training space although well-ventilated, is not air conditioned. We enjoy our space about an hour at a time and then take breaks in the air conditioned areas.
Do you show media at your camps?
YES. We will show age appropriate, non-violent, Parkour videos and Ninja Warrior. At times we have watched Disney films as well as current media such as Star Wars, cartoons and Pokemon.
If I am doing half day, when do I come?
You can come between 8 am and 12 pm or 11 am to 3:30 pm
BAM Academy summer camps are 5-day fitness camps in Austin, Texas where your kids get to experience our dynamic Parkour Space. Your kids will not only be challenged but they’ll learn team building skills as well as the safety behind getting up, down, and over obstacles, along with some acrobatic skills and awesome parkour games and challenges thrown in. Your children will start to learn, or continue to grow if they have been with us before, how to become a ninja by focusing on creating strong bodies, strong minds, and strong spirits. Using our awesome coaching and progression system to create confident and strong movements, we will promote a continuation throughout the years of Strength Through Movement. That’s what we will provide – looking at movement as play more than working out! Our camps can be physically and mentally challenging. Expect your child to be tired and even a bit sore after the 2nd day of camp. Appetites and sleep time may also increase after the 3rd or 4th day of camp.

1st day of Camp everyone will be grouped into 4 teams, of mixed age and abilities. Every day will start with a warm 15-20 minute warm followed by 2 hours of Level 1 and 2 training (or review), re-enforcing, safe efficient movement.
Level 1 and 2 skills focus on:
Afterwards, every camper will have many hours of Free Movement and Play. During this time they’ll be grouped into new groups based on age and abilities, working with a coach and being introduced to appropriate age/skill Parkour games.
Training and play will be broken up into two 20 minute mandatory Snack times, and one 60 minute Lunch.
The last 30 minutes of the camp will consist of mandatory stretching and cooldown.
